Timeline: 5 months, Jan 2025 - May 2025

Tools: Photoshop, Canva, Illustrator, Google Drive, etc.

Role: Design Director (CO-VP in Graphic Design)

Executive Summary

In January 2026, I was given the role of CO-VP of Graphic Design or CO-Design Director. With this role, I have been able to work on all 4 major clients as well as representing the graphic design team at Agency. Here will be a collection of the we’ve done collected throughout the semester long job.

Background

The Agency at Quinnipiac is an award-winning, full-service student-run interdisciplinary firm, shaped by young professionals specializing in social media, graphic design, content and copy, and photography and video. Driven by energy and creativity, our team is committed to supporting the growth and communications needs of diverse clients.

What I do!

As CO-VP/Designer Director, my duties included:

  • Managing our graphic design team.

  • Design any work requested by clients.

  • Give advice and guidlinds as one of the few graduates of the Agency this year.

  • Represent the Agency both in the workplace and at events.

  • Work together with the fellow VP to make a manageable system for how we run graphics.

The Work

Below is some of the content that I contributed to the Agency as well as our clients. My fellow VP Cristina and I managed to set up a unique system. She focused the Agency specifically, helping their work and so on. Meanwhile, I would focus on every client. If we needed to, we’d flip. Its been an incedible time.

Business Card Re-Design

For our lovely Hamden Regional Chamber, they wanted our design team to redesign their old logo (left) into a new one with their new branding of green and yellow, alongside a new logo. While the old one was fine, the newer is way more modern. Not only does the design give off elegance but also adds in new features that would also help the company, such as the QR Code for their app. This design is now printable and can be used in a number of ways as a result, whichever the president and membership director of the company want.

Website Changes (Hamden)

Another major change Hamber Regional Chamber wanted was small changes to their website. While we could never get into their Wordpress account, we were able to change a lot of their headers/openers to fit their new branding and as a result, the company feels up to date but adds a bit of color back into their design lives.

SWOT & Competitor Analysis

One of our clients, Coinbax, didn’t really request a lot of design work, however, our team was able to help in some way. We created a SWOT analysis and Competitor Analysis to go with their website. We found a lot of good qualities like good formatting and branding. And from the competitor analysis, we were to find areas that Coinbax could improve upon, like adding social media to their footer and adding a bit more imagery. The 7 page document helped lay the ground work for the compaines UX designers to make their site more user friendly and manageable.

SOC Social Media Templates

Lastly, our Quinnipiac School of Communications really wanted to have a way of differentating themselves from the Quinnipiac Schools. So our graphics team and social media team got together and we began creating a series of templates for the organization to use. These templates range anywhere from events, announces, news stories, spolights, carosuels and more. This template guide has been packaged and sent out to the SOC so all we can do now is if they use them in the future!

Reflection

Now that we have looked at everything, I am proud to be a part of the Agency again. While there was a lot less work as CO-VP of Graphics, the actual content came out incredilbe as a result, because we had so much time and people working together with us to be the most efficiant group out there. Thank you so much, Cristina, you are an absolute blessing. Now after going our final presentation, I am glad to say that this semester turned into a successful one!

Next Steps

For where to head to next:

  • Editing: There are still a lot of content that needs to be updated and redone, but otherwise most is complete.

  • Name Changes: There should a different name for Co-VP of Design, will be talking one of the professors to see if it cna be fixed.

  • Future Positives: I think in the future, I want to push forward with an advertising person. Like Lead Advisor or something, just someone who can handle the backside of production, where things go, etc.
